Florida Georgia Line is an American country music duo comprising of Brian Kelley (born Brian Edward Kelley on August 26, 1985 in Ormond Beach, Florida) and Tyler Hubbard (born Tyler Reed Hubbard on January 31, 1987 in Monroe, Georgia.) The duo met at Belmont University in 2008 through a campus worship group. Both members gained interest in music through church worship services, with Brian writing music after he was inspired by the Christian rock group Casting Crown. Tyler formed a Christian hip-hop group, Ingenious Circuit, as a teenager. After forming Florida Georgia Line, they recorded their independent EP, Anything Like Me, in 2010. They released their second EP, It’z Just What We Do, in 2012. Their first album, Here’s to the Good Times, was released in Dec. 2012, the sixth-best-selling album of 2013. The single “Cruise” reached No. 1 on the Country Airplay chart. The album reached the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and stayed there for ten weeks. In 2014, they released their second album, Anything Goes. The band announced their third album would likely be released in 2016.

Tyler married his longtime girlfriend, Hayley Stommel, in July 2015. Brian married his girlfriend, Brittney Marie Cole, in December 2013.
